Profile Section

  • The Profile Interface offers users a hub for efficient account control, facilitating updates to personal information, password adjustments, and the configuration of advanced security features like Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Contingency Plan Key 1.

2.8.1 Admin profile

2.8.1.1 Update account information

  • In the Admin profile section, the console manager can update his account information:
  • Update his First name, Last name, image.
  • See his Country code, Phone number, Email address
  • Update his password: The console manager should enter his old ( actual ) password then provide and confirm the new one.

2.8.1.2 Change console admin

  • In the Admin profile section, the console manager change the owner of the console:
  • The console manager clicks on “Change console admin” button.

  • A warning pop-up will be displayed and the console admin should click on “Please confirm you understand” checkbox, and click on the “confirm” button that will be enabled.

  • “Step1 - Select the new console admin” pop-up will be displayed, wherein the console admin can search between the users and selects the email address of the one who will be the new owner of the console and clicks on the “confirm” button.

  • “Step2 - Confirm the new console admin” pop-up will be displayed, wherein the console admin enters his password to confirm the transfer of the console admin rights to the new owner.

  • After that, an email will be sent to the new Owner and he will follow the steps mentioned in MyCena Desk Center first steps

2.8.2 Two-factor authentication method (2FA)

  • In this section, the console manager can change his Two-factor authentication method that is used when signing into the console, it can be:
    • Email code: Which is the default one, a six-digits code will be sent to his email address which he enters in the “Email verification” field in the authentication process.

    • 2fa application code: Which is a six-digits code displayed in a 2fa application, the console manager enters in the “2FA verification” field in the authentication process, The account will be related to the app after scanning or copying the code displayed in the “Set up 2FA using an app” pop-up

2.8.3 Contingency plan Key 1

  • The console manager can click on the “Download key 1” which is necessary in the “contingency plan” process
